Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. Part of the Y’s commitment to strengthening community through healthy living is with our LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program. The program offers adults affected by cancer a safe, supportive environment to participate in physical and social activities focused on strengthening the whole person and help reclaim their total health. By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is helping people move beyond cancer in spirit, mind and body.
